Allah said: “Gehenna (Hell) awaits whosoever comes before his Lord as a sinner, there he shall neither die nor live”{Taha: 74} And it defines the crime as it is every prohibited action forbidden by Allah. 

The crime in Islamic law is dangerous and must be avoided. Allah said: “O owners of minds, for you in retaliation is life, in order that you be cautious” {Albaqarah:179}

On the other hand, the punishment must be in the same amount of harm that created by the criminal without an increase or decrease as Allah ,almighty, said “We have written for them a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and for wounds equal retaliation, but whosoever forgoes it as a freewill offering, it will be an expiation for him. Whoever does not judge according to what Allah has sent down are the harmdoers. {Al Ma'ida:45}
